Membership & Value
The best way to get started is to take advantage of one of our 60th Anniversary Membership specials on our website. This instantly covers your green fees and gives you unlimited access to the range, ensuring you get the most value right from the start.
The advantage is consistency and savings. If you play once a week, the membership pays for itself quickly. Your cost is locked in for the entire year, you avoid paying third-party booking fees, and all league green fees are covered.
No. The $600 Individual Membership covers your Unlimited Green Fees (for walking). If you want unlimited cart usage for the season, you must purchase the separate $600 Cart Add-on. Otherwise, you can pay the daily cart fee per round.
Yes. All Crestview Memberships (Individual, Couple, etc.) include unlimited, free access to our Driving Range and Putting Green seven days a week. This is huge for consistent practice.

Right now we do not.
We prioritize an enjoyable round for everyone. We generally aim for a pace of 4 hours for 18 holes. If you or your group repeatedly fall behind the group in front of you, a Ranger may ask you to speed up or skip a hole. No need to run, just be ready to hit!
Yes, Crestview has a fantastic, welcoming community of golfers! If you book as a single, the Pro Shop staff will happily pair you with an open group. Leagues or charity outings also are great ways to meet regular playing partners.
Crestview is a relatively open, walkable course, especially if you stick to the White or Red Tees. We encourage walking for exercise, but we also offer the Cart Add-on for comfort and speed.
Our cancellation policy typically requires you to notify the Pro Shop at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a charge to the credit card used to guarantee your booking. Regarding weather, a rain check is issued only if the course is officially closed by management due to unsafe (lightning) or unplayable conditions. We do not issue rain checks for light rain or if you choose to abandon your round while the course remains open. The Pro Shop makes the final determination on course closure.
We do have Eldon’s Comfort Station featuring indoor plumbing (Mens and Womens) accessible from either nine.
Practice & Instruction (Getting Better)
Yes, we do! Live grass, multiple targets. Driving range membership available.
Yes, Crestview offers full sets of rental clubs for both men and women, available for daily use. Absolutely. PGA Professional Bob Bales is committed to improving all skill levels, from beginners to scratch golfers. You can book an individual lesson through the Pro Shop. He often emphasizes fixing fundamental mistakes and will help you learn the intricate world of golf rules of play.
You are welcome to start with a single evaluation lesson to see how well Bob Bales’ teaching style fits your game. However, we offer discounted packages (3-lesson or 5-lesson series or group lessons) for golfers committed to making deep, lasting improvements.
Yes, we absolutely do! Our PGA Professional, Bob Bales, provides comprehensive custom club fitting services. We utilize advanced launch monitor technology to accurately analyze your swing data—including club speed, launch angle, and spin rate—to ensure your equipment is perfectly matched to your swing, maximizing your distance and accuracy.
While we offer lessons year-round, the fall and winter shoulder seasons are actually the best time. Without the pressure of playing rounds, you can dedicate time to making fundamental swing changes. Using our indoor simulators, Bob Bales can diagnose and fix issues without the distraction of weather, allowing you to build muscle memory that will be ready to go when the spring season starts.
We usually start with the fundamentals: grip, posture, and alignment. Since Crestview rewards accurate second shots, you will likely focus on your rhythm and ball-striking consistency before addressing power and distance.
We make every effort to maintain the practice green at a speed and cut consistent with the course greens that week. It is the perfect place to get a feel for the day’s pace before your round starts.
Lessons canceled due to weather (like heavy rain or lightning) are always rescheduled at no cost. For cancellations on your part, please notify the Pro Shop at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.

No. We ask that all food and beverage be purchased from our Pro Shop or Bar & Grill. State liquor law strictly requires all alcoholic beverages consumed on the premises to be purchased at the club. Bringing outside alcohol is punishable by a $100 fine and will result in immediate ejection from the golf course for the day.
Rules & Course Design (The Technicalities)
The official rules of golf are maintained by the USGA and The R&A. You can view the full digital text HERE. You also may ask PGA Professional Bob Bales for the ultimate ruling.
Trying to hit their driver too hard. Hole #7 requires strategy over power. You need to hit a controlled fairway wood or long iron off the tee to avoid the trees and set up a manageable second shot.
The Slope Rating from the White Tees is 115, which is slightly above average difficulty for a bogey golfer. This means the course offers a fair challenge without being unfairly punishing, making it an excellent environment for consistent play and improvement.
The Course Rating measures the difficulty for a scratch golfer (zero handicap). The Slope Rating measures the relative difficulty for a bogey golfer (higher handicap). Crestview’s ratings confirm it’s playable but rewards strategic management.
